Deni Mulyana

Deni Mulyana's story
My background is in hotel and cruise ship training, with a focus on food and beverage management. From the beginning, hospitality has been my passion. I’ve always enjoyed creating great experiences for guests and working in dynamic, multicultural environments. So yes, this has always been my first choice of career.
I’ve been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. I started working on cruise ships and later gained experience in several hotels and restaurants before joining Accor.
Over the years, I’ve worked in various roles across the hospitality sector, from cruise ships to restaurants and hotels. Each role helped me grow professionally and personally, giving me hands-on experience in guest service, operations, and team leadership.
I’ve always believed in doing my best and bringing passion to everything I do. Being a specialist in Asian cuisine, which is still relatively rare in Tunisia, I see my role as not just preparing food but also promoting and educating guests about the flavors and traditions behind it. This dedication has helped me reach my current position within the Accor group.
What I love about Accor is its commitment to excellent service, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. The company creates a welcoming environment for both guests and employees, and it provides strong opportunities for growth and development.
Hospitality, in general, is about making people feel valued and at home, and Accor embodies that spirit perfectly.
Yes, I would definitely recommend this industry to others. Hospitality is unique because it’s about human connection, making people feel welcome, seen, and appreciated.
Accor is one of the leading hospitality groups in the world. Its strong reputation, high standards in customer service, and global presence make it an excellent place to build a meaningful and lasting career.
Being a Heartist® means serving with passion, empathy, and authenticity. I’m proud and honored to be part of a team that truly cares about both guests and colleagues. It’s about putting heart into everything we do.
My proudest moments are when guests express genuine satisfaction with my service. Seeing people enjoy the experience I help create, especially when they try and appreciate Asian cuisine is incredibly rewarding.
Always remember that a warm smile and genuine care can make a big difference. Stay patient, keep learning, and see every challenge as a chance to grow. Hospitality teaches you something new every day, not just about the job, but about people, culture, and yourself.
