Houcine Mimouni

Houcine Mimouni's story
I had some training in hospitality, and together with my work experience, it meant hospitality was definitely my first career choice.
I started as a receptionist, moved into housekeeping, and then held a management position in reservations. I have also developed some kitchen skills.
This interesting variety of roles taught me how to work well in a team and gave me the opportunity to master several languages. It helped me grow both personally and professionally, and enabled me to provide a high level of personal service.
Client satisfaction is always a priority in hospitality, without a doubt.
Unlike many sectors, hospitality allows you to meet people from many different cultures and backgrounds. This is not only stimulating, but also gives you a broader outlook. I would recommend it to anyone who likes people and is genuinely interested in them.
A Heartist® offers a genuinely warm greeting. We pay great attention to detail and notice clients’ reactions so that we can provide the best possible heartfelt service. We are also very creative in making sure we delight guests and give them a positive experience.
I take great pride in the positive responses clients have to the service my colleagues and I provide. I always want my hotel to be among the best — that is one of the highlights of my job.
And to newcomers: always show respect to your colleagues, leaders and, most of all, to clients. Go out of your way to support and please them; that will help ensure you have a successful career.
